Investor/RT is a robust charting/trading platform that has been under continuous enhancement and refinement for more than two decades. Investor/RT has an extensive technical analysis library, a large selection of charting styles, an end-user language for composing trading signals and custom indicators. Additionally, a software development API called RTX is available for 3rd parties to extend the charting platform.

Investor/RT operates in an integrated fashion with broker provided execution (DOM) software, showing market position and working orders on Investor/RT charts. Working orders can be revised or cancelled from the chart. Positions can be opened or closed manually from the chart or by using automated and semi-automated methods where user-specified signals place trading orders based on market analytics.

About Linn Software, Inc.

In 1994, the company embarked on a major development effort to redesign its charting and market analysis software as a cross-platform product for both Windows and Macintosh computers. Designed to meet the needs of sophisticated traders and active investors, Investor/RT® was introduced in 1996. It was developed with cross-platform software engineering tools and a high performance embedded database system. Today, Investor/RT remains the only product of its kind available in native editions for both Windows and Macintosh platforms.

Investor/RT has undergone continuous enhancement and refinement for two decades, adapting to user requirements and major technology changes over that period. In 2006, Investor/RT advances in TPO Profile charting and innovative real-time volume analysis lead to a business relationship with MarketDelta, LLC in Chicago. MarketDelta Charts, engineered by Linn Software, is powered by the Investor/RT charting engine and offers MarketDelta clients many advanced volume analysis features including Footprint Charts exclusive to MarketDelta editions of the software.

In 2012, MarketDelta, in collaboration with Linn Software, developed and introduced a futures trading platform known as MarketDelta Trader. Fully integrated with both Investor/RT and MarketDelta Charts, Trader provides real-time data and execution services compatible with hundreds of brokers supporting many order routing systems (OEC, CQG, Rithmic). Today Investor/RT is a complete charting/market analysis/trade execution solution featuring trading from the MarketDelta Trader DOM, broker supplied DOM, and/or trading directly from charts with automated order management of trades. The most recent version of Investor/RT features direct connectivity to OEC order routing services, providing more robust access to market data, intraday historical bar data and tick data for charting and access to real-time market depth for display and analysis.
